PlayerUnknown’s Battlegrounds is undoubtedly the most influential game of our era. After all, it is seen as the initial game behind the Battle Royale genre. PUBG’s popularity may have fallen down a little but it’s seeing a rise for the last few months after the major bugs and performance issues have been fixed.
It seems like things are only going to get better with the upcoming new PUBG game that was announced earlier today.
PUBG Corp launched a new studio company named Striking Distance and put Glen Schofield as its CEO. You may recognize him for taking part in the development of Call of Duty: WWII, Dead Space Franchise, and Sledgehammer Games. It looks like he is going to lead the upcoming new PUBG game.
No details have been shared on what will we be seeing in the upcoming game but we know that everything will be in PUBG universe. Since the PUBG universe isn’t all that huge and there aren’t different types of content in the game, we don’t know how everything will play out we’re talking about PUBG Corp which has the gaming giant Tencent supporting it fully. You can watch the announcement video to share this moment as Schofield puts it!
